So today was my first day back at work....
If you were a part of my day today, let me say thank you. Thank you for your support, your smiles, your hugs, flowers, gifts, cards, text messages, facebook messages, emails, phone calls.....I feel so loved. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Since tomorrow is Thankful Thursday, I'll wait for individual shout-outs till tomorrow :-)
It was not an easy day. I did, however, make it through the day without crying in front of students. I did not make it through the day without crying, but I met my goal of not crying in front of kids.
Tomorrow is our 2nd grade field trip to the Smithsonian. Sometimes I still feel shocked that its possible to take a field trip to the Smithsonian. It shocks me that we live that close to DC. I have to believe it will be a smooth sailing day.
Okay now for what I was going to post for wordless Wednesday:
