Thankful on Thursday

First, let's be clear about how well my pregnant brain works these days: I spent the entire week thinking that I would be 22 weeks pregnant on Friday. I looked up the current fruit and what's new with the baby and everything...only to realize today...WAIT A SECOND...I'm going to be 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow.  Yeah. I'm quick. I know you're jealous. That being said....

I'm thankful for Baby Girl being the size of a grapefruit! And good news, this week she's really listening to me and if her big brother Nutty barks, she can hear that too!

I am thankful for my incredibly supportive team at school. I loved watching everyone pull together to help each other out today to get everyone's testing well on its way.

I'm thankful for great news.

I'm thankful that this time next week we will be almost done with school. We are SO close.

I'm SO thankful for the ladybug gear that arrived today from Sara for Baby Girl. I was so nauseous this morning getting in the car and decided to go grab the mail from the mailbox that I didn't get yesterday. Oh goodness gracious, so worth it.

I'm thankful for my Momma who always helps me plow my way through the end of each and every school year. She's so good at the "back away from the ledge" speech by now.

And I'm so thankful to have the kind of husband who sends this message all the way from California: "I'm so proud of his hard you've worked this year. It is almost over and you should look back with pride.  Soon you'll be done and we can focus on our daughter." How'd he know that was just what I needed to hear?!

Happy Friday everyone :-)

TGITLSOL…

That’d be “thank goodness its the last SOL.” I am so tired of trying to pump the kids up to take tests. Its so not in a 9 year old boy’s nature to be quiet and still and take multiple hours worth of tests day after day. And if you don’t remember, my class is almost all boys.

In other news, I have discovered how to make iced coffee at home that is actually better than Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee and that’s sayin’ something. If you like iced coffee, try this recipe from the Pioneer Woman.

We’re almost done with school….I think I can…I think I can…I think I can…
