Happy Friday

I love country music. I grew up on country music. I can vividly remember as a kid, sitting in my dad's truck, identifying a song by Reba McEntire on the radio. I must have been 5 or 6. There are so many times that a country music song or album has just "fit" my life and I have listened to it over and over and over again because it gave me peace of mind. Well, now is no different.

...and listening to my current favorite album. My hubby had gone to a class on composting (we're dorks, we know it, you don't have to tell us) so it was just Chestnut and I. I put the music on nice and loud and was dancing around my kitchen doing the dishes. What an amazing album. And I listened to some of my favorite songs and sang along and then a song that has never been released as a single came on and for once I really listened to the lyrics. Wow. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I give you the lyrics to "Little Miss" from Sugarland's latest album, The Incredible Machine. And if you like country music, and you don't have this album, buy it. Its amazing.
