Birthday Party (Part 2 of Kennedy Turns One)

Cake! Kennedy got her own little cake.

And everyone else had one to enjoy!

"Oh my! Is this all for me?"

Banners! Balloons!

And lots of "polka dot" food.

We were lucky enough to have friends join us from near and far. William Y found his favorite place early on.

While William C. and Kennedy had fun discussing this ball.

TJ and Grandaddy discussed the finer points of manhood with Will.

Will C. just wanted to know what was for lunch!

Blow out the candle!

Dig in! Kennedy tentatively touched her cake, but wouldn't eat it until....

I gave her a fork. It's how ladies eat, you know.

My polka dot cake turned out great!

"Hi Daddy!"

K got this cute hat from Great Aunt Katie and her cousin Talon. She left it on her head for approximately 2 seconds. Way to be quick with the camera, Aunt Marissa!

Melissa, TJ and Will gave Kennedy this dinosaur. Clearly, it's a hit.

KP and family got her off on the right track early, teaching her about saving money with their gift. (For all who don't know, the accountant gene runs strong in that family :))

"Please, can someone open this for me?"

Grammy is teaching Kennedy about NFL football teams.

She got into the action a little bit!

Sara made this awesome collage of pictures of K's first year. It's now hanging in her room.

Ball pit time!

I can't believe it, but it's true. Kennedy Grace is...
