So Stinkin' Proud.

Recently, I realized that many of you are probably wondering what in the world is going on with Andrew, as I have failed to mention him on the blog. The reason I don't normally say a lot about him on here is because I don't really know a lot! Pretty much everything he does over in Libya is classified, which results in conversations such as this one:

Ashley: Hey honey, how was your day?
Andrew: It's been an interesting day.
Ashley: Oh really? Can you tell me anything?
Andrew: Nope, but just remind me to tell you about this day when I get back from deployment. It was really interesting.

It doesn't make for great blog posts...that being said...TODAY I have things to post.

So I don't know the whole story (of course) but here's what I know. There was an email was written by someone higher ranking than Andrew and sent up Andrew's chain of command. It was continuously forwarded on to higher and higher ranking people until it crossed the Commandant's desk. Um, yeah. The Commandant of the Marine Corps, people. And the Commandant responded...about Andrew!

I am just so. stinkin. proud. of that husband of mine.

Been wondering what to send him? How about an "man, you're awesome" card!?

And in true Marine form, I wasn't allowed to post this without adding that Andrew's success is due to the Marines doing such a great job and being surrounded by great Marine leaders. Way to go, 2/9!
