It had just enough room for the two couples, two kiddos and two fidos! It was right on the river, which was BEAUTIFUL!
We had a really relaxing time. We hung out in the kitchen together and chatted.
"Hey baby, how you doin'?"
"Mom, is he for real? Do I have to put up with his cheesy pick-up lines?
We rode around a little to check out the sights...Will preferred fido transportation....
Nutty checked out the area.
And then....then we played the most fabulous game of hide and seek that any of us had ever played. First, TJ jumped into his ghillie suit...doesn't he look JUST like Sully from Monsters, Inc. except in woodland camouflage?!
Choice of shoes was a little questionable...
It was quite a hairy sight.
Then we headed out down a path into the woods and the guys took turns wearing the Sully suit and we all tried to pick them out of the landscape. It. was. nearly. impossible. It is AMAZING how well that suit works! I got extra credit points for finding Andrew once while he was wearing the suit, but mostly it was a lot of seeking and not a lot of finding!
Will tried out Kennedy's Go Pod and found out that it was a great place to hang out.
After all that hard work and play, Kennedy had to take a nap. I invited Nutty to leave the room after she was asleep, and he said that no, he needed to guard Kennedy while she slept.
But after their nap, it was up and at 'em for some playtime with Daddy!
It was a wonderful weekend with wonderful friends!
