So on Monday we went to the doctor to check on Baby E. We got to hear the heartbeat and I cried I was so thankful to hear that little heart beating away. And then came the blood draw. I was a wreck all day Sunday and Monday about that blood draw. This is the bloodwork that went wrong last time. And I was terrified that it would go wrong again. But today (fittingly on a Thursday) I received the AMAZING news that it’s normal! No reason to be concerned. WAHOOOO!!!
In other news, I’m getting a new car! A brand new GMC Acadia will be arriving in my driveway on Saturday. I’m gonna have a big girl car! I’ve been driving the same car since I was 17. I love my car and I will be so sad to it drive away from the house on Saturday when the new one arrives…but I am super excited about the new one. My parents have been working really hard to pull this deal off while I was teaching, and I’m so thankful.
I caught up on Private Practice today since Andrew was working late. I’m giving MAJOR kudos to the woman who plays Amelia. Holy cow, did she nail it. I won’t say too much more than that in case you’re not caught up yet. Truth be told, I’m not to the end of the episode as I’m writing this, so I could only give away so much.
We’re getting into the home stretch of the school year. Two weeks until SOL’s begin. Thirty something school days until the end of the school year.
My husband has been living with a crazy woman and I’m thankful that he continues to put up with her.
I’m just so darn thankful today. I hope you’re having a good day too.
