First of all, let me say that I did not mean to scare everyone with my post about the Papp-A protein. Ultimately its a good thing that we know that the protein is low and they can monitor baby and I and if anything does go wrong, they'll know about it. This is WAY better than not knowing that there could be a problem and not being monitored. And since everything is going to be just fine and dandy, let's all just look forward to pictures of a cute little baby, shall we?
In other news in the Eckert household, I believe that Chestnut has his first ever ear infection. We definitely have gotten lucky with him in this respect because all kinds of Cocker Spaniels are known for their uncanny ability to get ear infections. It's the cute floppy ears. So he and I are headed to the vet this morning. I haven't told him yet. No need to ruin his day so early.
Teacher workday today at school which is really exciting. I need to do some major grading and make sure that all things are set for the week after spring break because I plan to NOT work during spring break. Speaking of, Happy Spring Break to my PWCS friends! I just have to survive Wed, Thurs and a half day Friday with the kids and then I'm free for a week.
Last night we got to have dinner with our friends Ginny and Paul and their little girl Lydia. Ginny had the same due date that I did last year. It was really fun to see how big Lydia has gotten since I saw her last! She's 8 months old and in 18 month clothes. See, told you she'd gotten big!
Okay, I'm going to take advantage of the extra time at home this morning to get a few things done....happy day!
