Thankful on Thursday

Okay, on a thoughtful on Thursday note, admittedly I'm having a hard time with Mother's Day this year. I was SO excited about it. Now, all you momma's out there, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna celebrate the heck outta you. I'm just being sad for me too. Maybe that's hard to understand, but I promise it's possible. It's just tough to deal with the fact that I "should" be about 10 weeks away from having a child, but in fact I'm just hoping desperately to be back at week 1 again. Now, on to thankfulness.

For those of you who know the details of my school day today, you'll understand how important it is for me to be thankful today. Whoa. I mean, REALLY?!

I am thankful for:

-Kelly. Thank you for coming up with a great list of animals and creatures today. I needed to laugh.

-Melissa. There's no one I'd rather sit in an office with while listening to someone screaming. Granted, I'd rather hang out with you without the screaming, but still, you know what I mean. And thank you for your confidence.

-Shannon. For all your support, and for the Logan stories, and for the appropriately shocked face you made when I saw you on my way to drop off my kids today. Made me laugh in spite of the situation.

-My coworkers. All of them. Thanks for being so understanding, caring and generally wonderful. With all that I have been through this year, you've been there. Thankful.

-My class. It's hard being at school some days. It was the place I spent a lot of time dreaming about a baby that I don't have. And then someone in my class says something completely silly, and I laugh. And it's wonderful.

-Sara. Our shopping trip was just what I needed.

-The parental units. ALWAYS thankful for you.

-Last but definitely not least, the hubs. I know I've been a crazy woman this week. Thanks for sticking with me. I promise I'll try and return to "not so crazy" status soon.

-Excuse me, Nutty just jumped on my lap and kissed my nose to tell me that I forgot someone. Nutty, I'm thankful for you too.
