Though I don't have time to really describe the last few weeks to everyone right now, I would like to give you a quick description of what life is like here in Iraq. Imagine you a standing on a platform that is not moving. Below you there is a conveyor belt gong 250 mph. You wait, and wait, and wait some more, not knowing when you have to step out on the speeding belt, but the announcer keeps saying "ok... now.... wait... no... wait for it..... ok one more day.... 10 MINUTES!!!.... no wait 4 days..... NOW!!!" Then you step out, and before you even have a chance to get your feet under you and figure out where you are or where you are going, you're 2,000 miles away from where you started. I think that pretty much sums up how life has been since leaving life and love behind in the states. I can't go into specifics yet as to the entire process I went through before arriving in beloved Iraq, though I plan on it eventually (trust me it's quiet a story) but for now know that I'm alive and well, and doing what I love surrounded by the Marine Corps finest.
I hope to have time soon to share more.

Looking forward to more news and entertainment! Love you! Momma and Daddy K
I'm glad to know you're still alive and kickin' Ace! You'd better come back so we can play some more Halo together!
Yay Ace! So, is that metaphorical "conveyor belt" you mentioned in reality a giant sandworm that might eat you, like in Dune? Cuz that might be kinda cool. Or not...depending on if he's hungry. Good to hear from you! Tucker says you smell. :)
Loved hearing from you son! Can't wait to hear your stories. Love you Lots! Mom
