We are currently in the mountains of NC to relax, see the leaves change colors and visit Tweetsie Railroad. We're staying in a great cabin that has a hot tub that K is referring to as the pool. Before you panic about the pregnant lady and the toddler in the hot tub, please know that we turned the temperature down to bath water temperatures, so everyone is safe and sound. She thinks it's amazing.
See what she's swimming in? Yep, those are bloomers from a dress. Why? Because when Mommy is thinking "pack for the mountains" bathing suits never cross my mind. For either of us. We are making do just fine.
The view from the cabin is breathtaking.
And yesterday we took this little squirrel to Tweetsie Railroad. She has been talking about this trip for a month. She's watched YouTube videos as research and knew ALL the details of what she was going to see. And it didn't disappoint her.
Sidenote: This is our new stroller. A second seat gets added for baby brother once there are two kiddos. So far, I LOVE it.
Train trip!
She wanted Baby to ride too.
Mommy gets extra bravery points. This is K and I from the back on the chair lift. I learned something really important. If you are ever riding a chair lift with a small kiddo, do NOT do what I did and sit in the middle. There will be NO bar in front of your small child sitting in your lap. Terrifying. She, of course, loved it.
Testing out ALL the trains.
Grandaddy being silly. "Send this one to Andrew," he said.
On the little train. I believe she is mid "Choo-Choo."
This young at heart kid had a pretty good time too.
Waiting for the bus. Yes, there was also a bus. "It was so fun," she told the driver.
It was a great day. And she made it until 2:00 without a nap, because she was just having so much fun. There are more pictures to come, but I promised Andrew he'd get to see some today!

Awesome pictures! Which does she ultimately prefer: the train or the bus?
