Grab your map and let's go!
This way, Grandaddy!
Pretty Flowers.
Look! I'm a ladybug!
Petting fake flamingos.
Bridge!
Water.
Andrew, this is a wine bottle waterfall. And we need one.
We can even find a choo-choo train at the fair.
She was so excited to see the chickens and roosters until the first rooster said cock-a-doodle-doo. And that was TOO LOUD. After leaving the area, however, she informed a few strangers about the exciting roosters...
"Winnie the Pooh" caught mid "pooh"....hysterical.
I post this one only as a preview of what her 13 year old eye roll is going to look like...
She was really trying to understand this whole milking a cow situation.
The fair is a mecca of fried and junky foods. They have Krispy Kreme cheeseburgers, deep fried oreos, pizza, Chick-fil-a, and tons of other interesting combinations...this kid wanted corn. Only corn. And ice cream, of course. Lunch of CHAMPIONS.
With lemonade, of course.
And a side of fudge.
She was very excited to find the PBS tent.
We went to see the duck pond full of ducks (obviously) and geese. There were some very strange looking dudes in there....but I tell you about it to give you these pictures...taken by Kennedy. She insisted that she take them "all by self."
It was a wonderful day. K fell asleep in the Ergo on the way back to the truck and stayed asleep through a move to the carseat, 45 min ride home, move to her bed and then for 2 more hours....she clearly had fun.
