One Month Old :-)

Yesterday Kennedy was officially one month old. Sometimes it feels like she just came home yesterday, but yet we find it really hard to imagine what our lives were like before she arrived. Kennedy loves to be held, and likes it when we talk or sing to her. She makes direct eye contact with us now, which is so enjoyable. She seems to find my glasses quite confusing and feels much better after I put my contacts in in the morning. With glasses on, I get a very odd look from her as if she’s trying to make sure that I am still her Mommy. She is developing a routine with her sleep schedule and we’re thankful for her current sleep habits. She likes riding in the car and enjoys taking her big brother on walks around the neighborhood with a little help from Mom. She has mostly outgrown her newborn outfits….more because of her large noggin’ and large feet than her actual length or width. Getting a newborn onesie over her head is nearly impossible! The white onesie in these pictures is a 3 month, and you can see it’s a good fit :-)

She enjoys bathtime each night with her Daddy and sleeps next to Mommy’s side of the bed in her Rock ‘N Play (Thank goodness for Shannon’s advice on that one!) She continues to attempt to go through multiple outfits each and every day thanks to an ability to spit up that impresses everyone.

She is one VERY loved little girl.
