It’s hard to believe that Kennedy will be 2 months old on Tuesday. I mean, wow. We’ve been busy around here with the start of the holiday season and we’ve got the pictures to show it!
At the beginning of November, Andrew and I attended the Marine Corps Ball. It was my first time to be away from Kennedy, which was pretty tough, but we had a good time. And right after they served dessert we rushed home for snuggles!!!
It was that night we learned that Kennedy HATES perfume. We got home from the ball and she would. not. eat. We resorted to feeding her from a bottle at 2am which broke my heart because I SO wanted to snuggle and nurse her when we got home. I kept wondering what in the world had changed since I fed her last…finally after a failed attempt to nurse at 7am we guessed that it might be perfume and I headed for the shower…sure enough, a successful feeding followed. Needless to say, I haven’t dared wear perfume since.
Mom and Dad did a wonderful job keeping Kennedy and I think they had fun too!
Kennedy took some time to stop and smell the…mums.
And then it was time to visit Dr. Weltman for my 6 week checkup. It was really good to see her.
The week before Thanksgiving, Kennedy and I were in Raleigh. We had whirlwind visits from LOTS of family and friends. Kennedy would lay down for a nap and each time she woke up someone new would be holding her! Here are some of the highlights!
Finally, Aunt Allison arrived to meet her niece.
Kennedy attended her first Carolina event while we were in NC as well. It was a cold day in Chapel Hill, but we still had a great time.
If it had been a warm day she totally would have worn her tutu…
Go Heels!
