So here is the tough part about writing blogs from here. What exactly can/do I write? I obviously can't really tell you about my day to day schedule because it is so linked to the company's schedule, meaning that it would be an Operational Security thing. So what exactly can I tell you about that you would want to hear about? Many of you aren't leaving comments, so I don't know who is actually reading this. You guys have got to throw me a bone and let me know what you want. I talk to Ashley often on email and via phone, so this is really for the rest of the masses that I don't get a chance to communicate with.
Here are a few things I can mention. The heat here is starting to get rediculous. We're talking 110 by 1000. Now imagine you are also carrying upwards of 80 lbs of gear. Not a good time at all. But Marines are doing it everyday.
I'm still going strong with the crossfit. There are four of us, my boss, the doc, one of the intel guys and me that try to get it in around 2200 every night. Sometimes it becomes counter productive, especially when we have a patrol the next day and you feel too soar to put your gear on. We have to do a lot of improvising with some of the workouts, due to the lack of equipment.
Again I ask that you guys post me some comments so I know what it is you want to hear about. Take care and I'll write again soon.

bone: what is crossfit? also, do you get days off? if so, what do you do? how was your 4th celebration (aka did you all do anything fun/special)? and finally, what do you think of monkey sunglasses? :) glad to hear you're doing well!!

Justin just gave me the link to your blog, so I'll be keeping up on all your exploits. As far as throwing you a bone, I haven't the slightest. However, if I come up with some interesting stuff that I just "hafta know," I'll be sure to to shoot you my penetrating questions. Either way, I'm anxious to hear all about the horrible weather, godless sand creatures, endless hours humping on patrol, and everything here there and in between. So keep em coming. Take care bud.
