October FLEW by at our house. We stayed busy and had a great time but phew, can you believe it's November?! Here's some of what we've been up to!
We went out to dinner for MiMi's birthday. Kennedy declared it a reason to be super fancy. (The rest of us were not nearly so well-dressed, and M slept through dinner in a stroller...haha)
I had a wonderful friend throw the twins a welcome party! We rented a bounce house and invited families to come hang out with us to celebrate. It was an awesome afternoon and everyone truly spoiled us with things for these girls.
When you ask a hubby to wrap your Amazon package for you...you might get this....
I may or may not have eaten most of this plate myself. I blame the twins.
Wonder how I'm feeling about having twins? It's something like this face...
Some superheroes dropped by the event.
Both kiddos ran in a race in our neighborhood called the Pumpkin Chase. They ran this last year as well. This year Kennedy declared herself big enough to run by herself and M originally said he was NOT doing this thing. Daddy had classes all weekend so it was up to the super pregnant lady to make the race happen.
M and I cheered for K as she headed out! Ignore the arrow, I stole this pic from a friend on Facebook and that's her daughter :-)
She's rocked it and received a medal to show for it!
Then it was time for Michael's big race. Kennedy wanted to run with him and Michael wanted no part of wearing his race number, so K carried it for him as they ran around the parking lot. His race was a very short distance for the littles :-)
We spent some time at our local pumpkin patches during October. Such a good time.
There was an attempt at a selfie.
K took some pics for me.
More selfie fun.
I can hardly believe how big these two have gotten.
This. kid.
This trip to a pumpkin patch was for Kennedy's school field trip. It rained pretty much the entire time we were there, but it was still pretty warm outside so it wasn't so bad, just wet!
We brought out Rock Band for the kiddos to learn to play and we are LOVING watching K take to being a rock star.
We also got to attend a friend's birthday party where all the gals dressed up in princess attire.
When in doubt, wear all the hats at once. Good advice from a smart girl!
