She's FIVE!

FIVE. How did that happen?! I've been telling Kennedy for the better part of a year now that I was NOT ready for her to turn five. It just seems so BIG. And yet, here we are. She's now a big five year old and quite proud of it, I might add.

We celebrated her "real" birthday at home mid-week and then had a Hei-Hei birthday party at Braehead Farm on Sunday afternoon. Yes, most kiddos would watch the latest Disney heroine movie and want to be the heroine....our kiddo wants to be the chicken. Fitting, yes?

The first few photos are from Daddy's phone, followed by the photos Mommy took surrounding the birthday event!

The party gal actually fell asleep on the way to her shindig. We discovered later it was because she was fighting off a virus...oops.

Decorating pumpkins!

Isn't she lovely....

Before school photo shoot with the birthday girl!

We got to spend some time with sister at school for her birthday and the lil' man was psyched!

Um, my big girl is five and my lil' man is walking in a line of preschoolers. What is happening in my world?!

Birthday girl requested brownies for her friends at school to share with her.

Who's more excited!?

Aunt Ally provided birthday dinner from Chick-Fil-A!

Birthday party day meant cake makin' time!

Mimi and Grandaddy came up to enjoy the party as well. I put Grandadddy on pizza-waiting duty, so he's missing from the farm pics!

Aunt Ally and Michael had a fantastic time hanging out during the party.

So sweaty, so dirty, SO much fun with friends.

Grandaddy chauffeured the birthday girl and her sidekick back to Mom's car after the party was finished.
