Oh what to say about my precious little bug...
She is fiesty. She is a girl who knows what she wants, and what she doesn't. She is sweet, tender-hearted and loving toward others. She loves being surrounded by her family, and likes to play with friends for small amounts of time before wanting her space again. She LOVES her brother.
She likes to make people laugh and is constantly making up silly songs and words hoping to cause giggles. She loves to pretend play- firefighter, tea party, and after her Grammy bestowed upon her a pilot's outfit, she's been taking everyone for airplane rides. She has a stuffed dog named Annie that she frequently takes places with us. Recently, Annie has been traveling in style in a pocketbook given to her by her MiMi. A baby doll frequently comes along to the park with us to swing.
She still sleeps in the bed with Daddy and I for about half the night every night and we sometimes pretend we're going to do something about it. Mostly, we cherish each moment of her sweet snuggles while she's still small. Except when she kicks us. In the head. How do toddlers manage to turn ALL THE WAY AROUND in bed!?
She can now drive her Jeep by herself (finally picked up on how to steer) and loves to ride her bike. She can't make it up and down the hills of the new neighborhood just yet, but we're working on it.
She takes dance and gymnastics and loves both, but I think there's a daring side of her that likes gymnastics just a little more (help me be brave...) She loves to swing SUPER HIGHER on the big girl swings.
She drinks more milk than one small human should be able to consume in a day. She loves chocolate milk, she loves milk warm and milk cold. Oh and milkshakes. A definite love of those too.
She loves music. Playing it, singing it. She loves to have dance parties.
She only enjoys any of the above mentioned things when she's in the mood for them. And don't think you can convince her otherwise. You'll be wrong.
Without further ado, here are some pictures of our sweet three year old.
She helped make the cupcakes...
She inspected the presents.
Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ernie got in on the prince and princess themed fun.
Now announcing...present time!
Airline pilot.
In flight.
She hired a crazy pilot.
New pocketbook :-)
I think we have too many pilots and not enough passengers around here...
CAKE TIME! Okay so she wanted a Sophia cake. So I found a cute cupcake cake that was shaped like Sophia's dress on Pinterest and I recreated it for her. In order to store it until cake time, I had to move a couple of the cupcakes so it would fit under the cover. It is only while posting these pictures that I noticed I FORGOT TO MOVE THEM BACK! AHHH! My masterpiece is ruined! Oh well, they taste good and she loved it.
She needed some help and she kept getting REALLY close to that 3!
Annie (the dog) goes for a ride in the new bike basket.
Annie in Kennedy's new baby carrier.
BIG kid.
She's clearly 16 already.
This is apparently what happens if you ask her for a "big" smile.
The boys on Kennedy's birthday.
Do you SEE Miss Priss!?
Miss Priss who agreed to take pictures...as long as she kept her bike helmet on.
BOY PICTURE!
A girl and her ukulele (which I guess I'm going to have to learn to spell...)
Happy Third Birthday! We love you more than you can imagine.
