I'm still pregnant.
Sometimes I'm looking back at the blog and I realize...I've made no mention of Baby Eckert 2.0 in forever! So today is all about baby.
Baby 2.0 is a boy! We've known for about a month, but I'm pretty sure it's not officially on the blog. We are pretty sure that his name is going to be Michael Conrad. Kennedy is already attached to him being Michael, so I think it's a done deal. We are waiting to see if we will be moving shortly after Michael is born, so as of right now he does not have a space to call his own in our house. He does, however, have bedding! I just picked it up from someone in our neighborhood the other day. It's the cutest little whales I think I've ever seen. This is just a pic from the internet, but this is what it looks like.

Pictures are much more difficult this time around because my placenta is in the front so it's a little harder to get clear images. And, in following family tradition, he wouldn't cooperate for his anatomy ultrasound, so we'll be trying again in a couple of weeks. Everything checks out so far though! A nice, healthy, normal pregnancy. And here I am at 21 weeks into this pregnancy:

Baby Michael is the size of a pomegranate.

Can't wait to meet little Michael!
I didn't know you had an anterior placenta this time! I did with both kids. Ahem. I may have flipped out oh, 47 times a day about not being able to feel them as well. So, you know...worriers unite! :)
