Now you have to start asking her to "put it in" I stain treat, and hand clothes to Will and say "put it in" (like 10 times), and he puts it in the washer, and closes the door for me. Last night he even said "put it in" back to me. Obviously this takes 10x longer to get the laundry done, but two years from now it will be awesome!
Please know, I used to sit on a stool in front of our washing machine when I was little, watching the water, clothes, and bubbles for cycle after cycle. Mom would put a clothes pin in the little lock slot so that the lid could stay open for me and my special entertainment. Thankfully I never had the urge to tempt fate and actually touch the water...I was content to watch the cleaning process :)
