Height/Weight: 21 lbs, 9 oz. and as it says on this month's checkup sheet... 2ft, 5.5 inches tall. That's 96% in height and 88% in weight. Maybe she'll be tall and thin like daddy! Her head, of course, remains in the 98%.
Eating: She loves, loves, LOVES fruit. All fruit. Tonight's hit was blackberries. She eats bananas, mangoes, strawberries, blueberries, apples... you get the idea. She also LOVES cheese. American cheese is this week's favorite, but cheddar is also loved and appreciated. She will eat most veggies, and occasionally will enjoy a meat from mom's plate. But if you told her she could only eat fruit and cheese, that'd be fine with her. She's still nursing frequently and well. Yay for that!
Sleeping: She's not going to win any sleep awards, that's for sure. As I told our new pediatrician today, she wakes up somewhere between one and four times a night. His question, "Are you okay with that?" My answer, "Yep, works for me." His answer, "No problem then." I mean, do I wish she'd sleep through the night...well, of course. But honestly I wouldn't know what to do with myself. We're just workin our way through it day by day. We'll get there! Naps are decent most days lasting about an hour each. She wakes up, is awake for two hours, naps. Stays up for three hours, naps and most days there's time for one more nap. As always, I just kind of follow her cues.
Playing: Kennedy is crawling and pulling herself to standing...and uses those skills to cause trouble. She continues to love to bang things together to make noise. She still loves bathtime, but has progressed to taking a bath in the bathtub...inside a laundry basket! She loves trips to the beach and the pool. She continues love to swing at the playground and could watch big kids play all day long.
Clothes: Mostly 12 month, some 18 month clothes. She has a few 9 month things that I'm still squeezing her into...
And now...pictures. What a difference a month makes! I couldn't even get the sticker on her belly long enough to take a picture. So you get the best I could manage!
As an added bonus, this outfit was mine when I was little! And hey, if you look really closely in that last one, you can see that she's growing hair finally. No really, look closer.
This little girl keeps me on my toes, and infinitely entertained every day. I'm so thankful she's ours.

Love! I think there needs to be a laundry-basket-bathtime picture if possible (as in if she lets you) :) Cuz that just sounds like tons of fun. Hugs and love to you both!
I agree with Sara! :) I cannot believe how big she has gotten! :D Can't wait to see y'all in August! Love y'all!
