Height and weight are currently a mystery because we don't have a doctor's appointment this month, but I can tell you she's starting to feel heavy. And I'm starting to look at big kid car seats because she will outgrow her current one when she hits 22 pounds. I am still doubtful that she's ever going to be that big....just let me live in my denial world for awhile longer.
Eating: Kennedy still loves to eat. She nurses about every three hours during the day, though eating every two hours is still not out of the question with her. At night...well. um. it's longer. That's all I can really say about it. Some nights she makes it four hours and declares that she's STARVING. Some nights she goes way longer. Cereal wasn't really a huge hit and I definitely didn't want to push it, so we quit after a few feedings. This week I let her try sweet potatoes. Holy cow. The kid was in love. So she's eaten sweet potatoes each night this week. She cries when they're gone. It's pitiful. But super cute. I'd say she's eating about two tablespoons of sweet potatoes right now. No, I should correct that. I put two tablespoons in the bowl. Where they end up (as you'll see later) is really anyone's guess. Who knows how much she's really getting in her little belly?!

Sleeping: I'd like her do so some. I'd like her to do more than she is right now, thanks. Sleep is way better than it was when she turned four months old. She's no longer waking up every hour or two. That being said...it's not back to where we were when she was younger and oh how I miss those days! She goes to bed right after her bath and is generally sound asleep by 6:45. She wakes up sometime between 5:30 and 7. I try to enforce a strict "Mommy doesn't play before 6" rule. I let her play in her crib by herself and watch her projector on the ceiling or play with her feet, etc. But I don't stay in the room with her. Because really, no one needs to encourage her to get up that early. She's waking up 2 times a night on a good night and we won't speak of how bad a bad night can be. She's just so excited about life and doesn't want to miss a minute. Naps? Who needs them. She has very recently seemed to want to adopt an up for two hours, down for a nap kind of schedule. I'm trying to encourage that...the only problem is if she doesn't nap well (frequent occurrence) the schedule doesn't hold. I think if she could get away with just taking a 2 minute power nap every hour, she might opt for that. That SO doesn't work for me!
Playing: Anything that lets her stand up to play is her favorite. She also loves her O'Balls. That's right. Plural. We left one at Sarah's house, and she got two more as a result. (I blame her Grammy!) Her feet are, by far, her favorite toy of all. Just today she figured out how to make the walker move across the floor.
She's wearing 6 month clothes mostly...but we've crossed into the 9 month pajamas recently. Grandmommy got her these cute pajamas and told me they were 9 month, so clearly I said they'd be too big, but since they were so cute, she could wear them anyway. I think you'll see that I was in denial about how big she's getting....
She is SO talkative and has started squealing like crazy. Super cute at 5:30 pm, not so cute at 5:30 am. Okay, so it's still cute, I just wish I could sleep through it!
Kennedy can pretty much sit up on her own, but can't be trusted to stay up because she will dive for her feet and then lose her balance. She can play with toys while she's on her tummy, and while sitting up supporting herself. She has, a few times, rolled from her back to her tummy, but mostly doesn't see why anyone would want to do such a thing...
She's opinionated, extremely active, loves to be on the move, and she is so, so, loved by so many people.

She is SUPER CUTE!!! Can't wait to see y'all on Saturday :)
I don't know where to start; every single picture deserves comment. This girl is gorgeous, clearly curious, and I can't believe she is already sitting-up and playing. She and her parents are just fantastic!
