Thankful on Thursday

Ah....Thursday. This week, I'm thankful for:

*FRIDAY. I know, its a cheap way to start. But even though it's been a shorter week...I need Friday. I'm exhausted!
*Fun plans for the weekend.
*My hubby's surprise for my first day of school. He left me a little something hidden in our house, since he was going to be in CA for my first day. I know, I'm lucky. :-)
*Nutty. Not only is he super fun and super cute, he's also super forgiving when I'm gone a lot!
*My new class. At first it was a little touch and go....which looked a lot like, "Who the heck does this woman think she is? She's CRAZY! RUN!" on their faces....but as of today they were dancing, cheering and singing with me. We're getting somewhere, people.
*Those sisters from the Daily Five. Today my class begged me to let them read by themselves silently for 20 minutes. Really. You can't make these things up.
*A SMART board. With 16 video-game-loving boys in my class, sometimes it's the only way I feel like I get them to stop and listen to a lesson. But it works.
*My mom and dad. As usual, they're just plain wonderful.
*Shannon's blog. Sometimes I wait a couple of days before checking just so I can have a plethora of cute Logan pictures.
*Jacob and Thomas. Um, could those kids be any cuter? Thanks for posting, Ashley. They make me smile.
*Jeans tomorrow. It makes the fact that the alarm goes off early feel SO much better. Yes, I do know that's kind of sad. I accept that.
*On Demand TV. I have NO idea what I would do at night when Ace is gone, in this "no new tv shows" period of our lives, without my on demand. Yes, I do know that's sad. I accept that.
