Five Months Old

Our favorite little guy is now a mighty five month old!

No checkup this month so no official stats on his height and weight, but I can assure you that he is continuing to grow quite a bit! He's wearing 9 month clothes almost exclusively, but I recently found a few 6 month outfits he hadn't worn yet and managed to squeeze him in :-)

I think he is completely capable of rolling in either direction, but has no real desire to do either one. He would really rather never lay on his tummy, so who knows how long it may be before we see a roll from back to tummy. Tummy to back he has shown the ability to do, but he'd rather yell and have someone turn him over. Normally, his big sister comes to his rescue.

This is a happy, easy-going kid. He's smiley. He eats when he's hungry and sleeps when he's tired most of the time. He loves playing with o-balls and his favorite toy is a bird that jingles. When you hold his hands and let him stand, he will "walk" to his favorite people. He completes the stepping motions without help, but obviously can't stand up by himself yet. He can tripod sit, but isn't trustworthy enough yet to leave sitting by himself. He LOVES his sister and giggles at her antics quite frequently.

Oh and those shoes? His sister wore them when she was 7 months old...they're almost too small for this chunker's big feet!
