Maynia!

We had a big weekend around here. First, Grammy has come in to visit and Kennedy is loving hanging out with her. Then today we took Kennedy and her Grammy to Maynia, a big carnival on base. Today there were pony rides and a petting zoo along with all the big kid rides and bounce houses and things. Check out our day!

And then we asked her if she wanted to ride the horse...and she said yes. But we all pretty much believed it was going to end in lots and lots of tears and "all done's." And then this happened.

Okay understand that this is her "cheese" face. She isn't in some sort of pain...

And then she wanted to go in the bounce house. I explained to her that she'd have to go in by herself that Mommy couldn't go with her and she still maintained that she wanted to go. So I let her. Who gets more points for bravery? Personally, I think it's me. She "hopped" while keeping contact with my hand for the most part. It made both of us feel a little better.

She "won" a duck at a carnival game.

And had her first ever shaved ice.

Big hit.

And then we danced to the good music.
