Confession: There was going to be a 15 month post. And then life got crazy. So here we are at 16 months.
Weight/Height: 25 lbs, 13 oz., 31 1/2 inches tall. Head? Still huge.
Kennedy is the light of our lives. Truly and completely. She’s a happy girl and brings happiness to those around her.
She loves: talking, Mickey and Minnie, Elmo, learning new things, laughing like a maniac, dogs, reading books, the park, balls, salad, blueberries, grapes, her daddy getting her milk for her, snuggles with mom just after nap time, Nutty, bubbles, story time at the library, and being WIDE OPEN.
She dislikes: long car rides (but doesn’t hate the short ones as much!), being told no or to end an activity before she is ready (is she two already?), not being in the same room as Mommy, being woken up from naps, super darkness (learned in Disney!).
A few randoms: When Kennedy hurts herself in any way she says, “ouch” and holds out the afflicted part to everyone who is around to kiss. She can follow tons of simple commands including going to get her own shoes from her basket near the door. If left up to her, she’d wear her black patent dress shoes everywhere, I’m pretty sure. We currently have a name problem for her daddy and grandaddy as she is calling them both “da da.” Convenient for her, confusing for everyone else. She is currently calling Grandmommy, “Mimi” and Grammy “Mammy.” When Justin was here she referred to him only as Uncle…which sounded more like “alto” than “uncle.” She has recently learned to do the Hokey Pokey and can “turn herself around” at the right time. She is desperate to learn to do all things that Mom and Dad can do and becomes very frustrated when something isn’t working the way she knows it should.
