Daddy had to leave after Kennedy's bedtime, so we put her down as usual and then woke her back up to go say goodbye. At first she was really sleepy and confused and a little upset....and then it was AWESOME that we were letting her party in the middle of the night!
But every once in awhile she remembered just how sleepy she was. (And if you're trying to read the outfit, it says "Marine Princess")
It was kind of awesome to see all these Marines out on the field preparing to deploy and realize that Andrew is in charge of all of them. Normally when he deploys, it's a battalion sized deployment so it's impossible to tell who's in charge of who...but this time it's just Andrew's company. So they're all his. Crazy.
And then it was time for one last picture, hugs, kisses and see you soons.
Soon I will be able to post an address for Andrew so that we can all start shipping him things he needs (and plenty of stuff that simply amuses him us). And hopefully soon I can tell you more about where he is and what he's doing. For now, I can just tell you that he's excited about the upcoming six months and Kennedy and I are going to enjoy six months of Mommy and Daughter time. We're considering decorating in pink...so far Nutty's the only "no" vote....

Nutty will happily vote yes as long as the treats keep flowing. ;) And just hope Kennedy realizes the partying in the middle of the night was a one-time deal ;) Sending good energies your way! :)
Love and prayers for all of you. And absolutely love the new header picture for the blog page :) Such a beautiful family!
