8 weeks

First of all, these pictures are overdue. Here’s what 7 weeks pregnant looked like around the Eckert household.

Today we went to the doctor to check on the babies. There was good news and bad news. I’ll begin with the bad so that we can end on a good note. The bad news is that Baby B is no longer with us. There was no heartbeat this time, and it appeared there had been very little, if any growth since our last visit.

Now the good news. We’re trying to focus on all the good news. Baby A looks wonderful! Strong and healthy with a normal little heartbeat of 173 BPM. We even got to see a little wiggle. Here’s a profile picture including a little hand sticking out the front.

   And week 8 is a very similar picture to week 7 as far as I’m concerned…here’s a picture of Nutty and I yesterday. If there were a time stamp on this picture it would say 4pm. And yes, those are still my PJ’s and no, I never put my contacts in yesterday.
