So I got a message that was blog-worthy yesterday and MUST post it this morning. It completely made my day. It was from one of my student's moms from last year at Springwoods.
"We were studying Geography last night and (insert student name here) stopped and said, 'Mom, third grade is so easy! Mrs. Eckert taught me everything I needed to know last year!'"
Now, I must also tell you, that last year he told me that, "Second grade is so easy! Mrs. Z taught me that last year!" So hats off to both myself and his wonderful first grade teacher. I'm patting us both on the back today....
...and then I'll go back to worrying about the fact that my students this year are SO far behind!

We are awesome! This just made my Sunday! :) Especially since I am pretty sure I know who that awesome child is and since you are not there for him to wave at he waves like a CRAZY person everytime we pass him in the hallway and it is adorable!
