Our vacation did not go as expected....but it was an adventure from the beginning. We had a wonderful time and here I'll give you the highlights. If you want the WHOLE story, you'll be forced to talk to one of us, rather than simply blog stalking :-P
Andrew and I were scheduled to go on a cruise beginning March 27th for my spring break from school. We got up nice and early, went to the aiport, and then......missed our plane. Don't ask how. We don't know. So the nice people at US Airways sent us on an adventure. That being said, our vacation started in a confusing way...
We were surprised by our arrival in Knoxville...

We arrived for the first night of our vacation, after many hours of travel, in beautiful, downtown....CHARLOTTE, NC. (Not the plan at all, I assure you.)

Thank goodness for KP and Michael, who took pity on us, and took us to Target to buy a few extra clothes and toothbrushes....because our luggage was already enjoying our stateroom aboard the Eurodam. We got up bright and early the next morning and returned to the airport to board a flight to Grand Turk, which was the ship's first stop on Monday morning. We arrived in Grand Turk on Sunday afternoon, and thanks to my Uncle Ernie's booking of a hotel room for us, had a BEAUTIFUL place to call our own for the night.

I know...looks like postcards. I assure you I actually took those pictures. The next morning (Monday) we got up to go wait for the cruise ship to pull into port so we could go meet up with our luggage (and my parents)!
Of course, as fate would have it, the ship was late pulling into port. We scrambled on board to get bathing suits on and head off on our respective excursions. Andrew went scuba diving and I went with Mom and Dad on a catamaran cruise. From there, things went relatively smoothly. We settled into a routine of lazy warm days, and fancy dinners followed by outstanding evening entertainment. We had a great time. Here are a bunch more pictures of our trip:

Great Posting!!! WE definitely had a GREAT time!!! Love you!!!
so beautiful. And looks warm. and sunny. And beachy...mmm, everything you could want! Though the beginning of it sounds kinda nuts, but certainly makes for a memorable story... Additionally, the picture with your parents in chef hats = priceless.
Thanks for sharing as the warmth of your pictures and smiles fakes me into believing warmer, drier weather can happen! <3
and the daniel post was mine. duh. sorry for the mix-up!
Woohoo. That looks like soooo much fun. Can't wait to hear all about it :) Love you two
Where is my souvenir? Just kidding. Glad you both had a good time. Thanks for the call from Puerto Rico Andrew, just to rub it in. As always, much appreciated.
