Momma Eckert we know you don't like "new and improved" anything, be we figured we could get away with it in this case. Soooo as of 10 April Ashley and I will be the proud new owners of a house in Stafford Virginia. After some very treacherous house hunting a few weeks back that had some, let's say "interesting" encounters...
...we have made and have had accepted an offer on a house is just what we are looking for. We will be closing on the 10th and will immediately be heading up to clean up and get the house ready for our move in. That being said let's go on a quick tour:
We are most excited (read Ashley is most excited) about the size of the kitchen. Over all it will give us a lot more storage space and counter space.
Some rooms kind of made us go, "well it doesn't look bad, but we're gonna have to take that wall paper down.":
Other rooms give you a headache just looking at them, but as Momma K always says "they make paint."
And of course, the most important member of our family (read Nutty) approves of the backyard:
All in all, we are really looking forward to some of the projects, the house and the move in general.
We have finally gotten our order as well, so at the end of April I will be checking in at the Basic School, and Ashley will be following me in June and Chestnut will trot right along with her. I hope that everyone else is doing well, and we'll be sure to post more pictures once we have begun the house renovation.

I can't wait to come visit... perhaps even help cover up some of the "more interesting" paint jobs. Auntie Missy is always here to give a hand :)
