He's home!

On Friday, I arrived at 11:00 to meet my hubby as he came home from 7 months in Iraq. As things usually go, instead of a message from the DJ announcing "They're here!" I, along with the many other families waiting received the, "Well, there's been a delay..." message. So we left, went to the exchange, had some lunch, came back and continued to wait. Here I am with one of the other wives, trying to wait patiently.

We were certainly not alone in our wait...

And then, after 4 hours of eager anticipation, a bus rolled up with Andrew and 169 Marines from his company. We tried not to attack as they marched in our direction....Then the powers that be finally released the Marines to their families....and I had the difficult job of finding Andrew in a sea of people who look exactly like him... Never fear though, I found him :-)
